Ca La Donna is a small workshop in Warburton, surrounded by the forests of Mt Donna Buang, where each piece is made with care and intention.
From Tasmania to the Yarra Valley
Ca La Donna is the vision of Matt, a qualified furniture maker who first learned his craft in Tasmania. Specialising in solid timber craftsmanship, he developed a philosophy built on sustainability, quality, and timeless design. That journey now continues in our Warburton workshop, where each piece carries the warmth and character of reclaimed timber.
Every item is made from beautiful reclaimed timbers — Tasmanian Oak, Blackwood, Victorian Ash, Jarrah, Sassafras, and Huon Pine. Clients are welcome to bring their own timber, or Matt can source the right material to match your project.
Whether it begins with a sketch, a rough idea, or a shared vision, each piece is designed to balance uniqueness and function. The outcome is furniture that feels at home in your space, brings contrast and warmth, and endures for generations.
